Donkey Mobile Privacy Statement

Your church uses an app on the Donkey Mobile platform. With this app, you can, for example, quickly find information about church members or communicate with groups.

To make this run smoothly, your personal data is stored and shared within the app. An app is an excellent way to do this in a safe and responsible manner. The Donkey Mobile app was also built by experts and tested by specialists from Secura. You can read how we handle personal data in our Privacy Statement:
General

Personal data is stored on the Donkey Mobile platform. This data is added by the church or by the person concerned. The way personal data and data is stored in the app differs for each church.

If you have any questions, please contact us at info@donkeymobile.app

What is personal data?
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the 'data subject'). This data may include the data subject's name, telephone number, home address or email address. What do we use personal data for? Personal data is stored to share it with other members of the church. Church members can view this data and contact each other.

What personal data do we collect?
At a minimum, the email address is stored to give a user access to the church app. Personal information, such as home or work address and/or other contact information, may optionally be added. An app administrator for your church may add additional fields to a membership that may contain personal information. The app administrator for your church may determine whether the field is editable by the user. Photos and other documents may also be shared in the app.

Where does the personal data come from?
Your church’s app administrator can manually add personal data or import the data. A batch import can be done by uploading a file (csv) or by connecting a membership management tool. Automatic import can be done by connecting to an external membership management tool. The data subject can change his or her personal data and add or remove personal data.

With whom do we share personal data?
Personal information can be shared in the app with members of the church app. Your church decides who has access to this. Are you concerned about this access? Contact the administrator within your church. Personal information added by the data subject is visible to other users of the app.

Who can change personal data?
A user can change their own data, depending on the settings in App Manager. Your church’s app manager cannot change personal data if an external information system is connected. If technically possible, users can change their personal information via the app, in the external information system. App managers can change personal data if no external information system is connected.

How long will the personal data be kept?
The data will be stored until the church stops using the app and will be deleted. Until then, only the App administrator of your church or the person concerned can delete the personal data.
