My app doesn't work anymore

Did you get an alert in your app that you have to update the operating system of your device?
Annoying! How do you fix this?

1. Check if you can update your phone

1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
2. Go to General settings.
3. Search for "Software Update"
4. Let your device search for a new software update and click update. Turn on automatic updates if possible.

2. Update your Church app

1. Open de App Store app on your Apple device or the Play Store app on your Android device. 
2. Search for your church app and update the app. If you do not have the latest version of the app installed, a button will be displayed entitled "update" or "update".

What if I can't update my phone?

Does your phone have the very latest OS version available?
Then you probably have an old phone that is no longer supported by the manufacturer.

Unfortunately, you will have to purchase a new smartphone that is supported. All phones that you can buy in the store right now are supported by the manufacturer. To be on the safe side, ask a family member or salesperson for advice.

Why do I need to update my phone?

We cannot always support old versions of the Android or iPhone operating systems. Your phone and your church app should be safe and easy to use. Older operating systems can pose security risks. In addition, we cannot guarantee that your app will work properly if your phone is no longer supported by the manufacturer.
