Don't sell but move on
to help.
For me, the Donkey Mobile story began on an autumnal Monday evening. My father forwarded me a vacancy for Business Developer Inside at Donkey Mobile. At that time, I knew little about this wonderful company. When I opened the link, this was the first sentence I read; “Do you have a passion for mobile and are you motivated to help build a modern church experience?” When I read that, I was immediately sold!
I had been looking for a new challenge in sales for a while. At that time I was still working at a company where I was allowed to sell products to customers. During that time I experienced that my preference is more for explaining and advising these products in order to help the customer make a good choice. A customer benefits more from you helping them than from selling them something. As you can read, helping customers is much more important to me than 'selling' to customers.
As a Business Developer Inside, I have the task of advising churches and helping them further with the choice to use the Donkey Mobile app. Together with the churches, I hope to think along in the decision-making process in order to come to a nice agreement. In this way, the Donkey Mobile app can also help the churches with further development for the future!
